Jomax Virus & Mold Killer is a disinfectant, fungicide, virucide, bactericide, mildewcide, and mildewstat. It also provides excellent cleaning and deodorizing performance. It is designed for use in hospitals, medical and dental offices, nursing homes, industrial and institutional facilities. 

Jomax Virus & Mold Killer is suitable for use on hard non-porous surfaces such as:

IMPORTANT
Where mist or vapors may be generated, proper ventilation must be provided in accordance with good ventilation practices. In the absence of proper environmental controls, a NIOSH/MSHA approved respirator is advised. Wear protective eyewear (goggles or face shield), long-sleeved shirt and long pants, socks and resistant footwear and rubber gloves.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Surfaces Contaminated with Mold & Mildew – Remove all heavy build-up of growth and loose debris from areas to be treated. Mix 1 part of Jomax Virus & Mold Killer Concentrate with 3 parts water to make a working solution. Apply the product with a commercial low-pressure sprayer 6 to 8 inches from the surface or use a wet mop, sponge, pad or other suitable application device. Make sure the treated area is thoroughly wet for at least 10 minutes and allow to air dry. Repeat every 7 days or more frequently if growth reoccurs. DO NOT mix this product with other cleaning products.

Carpet Cleaning and Deodorizing – This product may be used in industrial and institutional areas such as retirement homes, motels, and hotel chains, nursing homes, schools and hospitals. Do not use on wool. Vacuum carpet thoroughly prior to cleaning. Test fabric for color fastness. Follow application procedures as specified for any conventional steam cleaning equipment used. For rotary floor machines, spray on the carpet at a rate of 300-500 square feet per gallon. When finished, set the carpet pile in one direction using a stiff brush. Place aluminum foil under the legs of furniture while carpet is drying. Do not over-wet as over-wetting can cause the carpet to shrink.

Smoke and Water Damage – Jomax Virus & Mold Killer-less carpet strips and is an effective deodorizer for use in water damage restoration situations and against odor on porous and non-porus surfaces which include carpets, sub-floors, drywall, trim and frame lumber, tack-less carpet strips and paneling. Saturate the affected materials with enough product to remain wet for 10 minutes. Use with proper ventilation.

Disinfection and Virucidal Applications – This product is effective against HIV-1, Herpes Simplex and Influenza. Use full strength. DO NOT DILUTE. Apply Virus & Mold Killer Concentrate undiluted to hard, non-porous surfaces, with a cloth, mop, sponge or sprayer, or by immersion. Make sure the surface is and remains thoroughly wet for 10 minutes. Wipe dry with a cloth, sponge or mop or allow to air dry. For heavily soiled surfaces, pre-clean with soap and water prior to using Virus & Mold Killer.

Rinse all surfaces that come in contact with foods such as countertops, appliances, tables and stovetops with potable water before re-use. Do not use on utensils, glassware or dishes.

For sprayer applications, use a coarse spray device. Spray 6-8 inches from the surface and rub with a brush, sponge or cloth. Do not breathe spray vapor. This product is not to be used as a terminal sterilant/high level disinfectant on any surfaces or instrument that (1) is introduced directly into the human body, either into or in contact with the bloodstream or normally sterile areas of the body, or (2) contacts intact mucous membranes but which do not ordinarily penetrate the blood barrier or otherwise enter normally sterile areas of the body. This product may be used to pre-clean or decontaminate critical or semi-critical medical devices prior to sterilization or high-level disinfection.

Personal Protection: The worker must wear disposable latex gloves, gown, mask and eye protection to prevent contamination from soiled items.

Cleaning Procedure: Blood and other body fluids must be thoroughly cleaned from surfaces and objects before application of this product.

Contact Time: Allow Jomax Virus & Mold Killer Concentrate to contact treated items for 30 seconds. This time will not control other common types of viruses and bacteria listed on the label.

Disposal of Infectious Material: Any blood or other body fluids must be autoclaved and disposed of according to federal, state and local regulations for infectious waste disposal.
