Gaco Grip Texture Granules provide a reliable, decorative and functional skid-resistant aggregate specially designed for pedestrian traffic surfaces. These texture granules are made from walnut shells and integrate directly into Gaco’s deck coatings systems for enhanced traction and safety in demanding applications and can be used in other coating systems as well.

Ideal for boat docks, pool decks, stairs, wheelchair ramps, balconies and exterior walkways, Gaco Grip is engineered for outdoor durability and performance. Once embedded in the coating, the granules become an integral part of the surface — they won’t dislodge under normal use.

KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS:

  • Enhanced skid resistance for pedestrian surfaces and safety-critical areas.
  • Fully integrated into the coating system; granules cannot dislodge under normal conditions.
  • Compliant with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidelines for accessible walking routes.
  • Designed for use in exterior environments exposed to weather, UV, water and foot traffic.
  • Ideal for use on decks, ramps, docks, walkways, stair treads where safety and durability matter.

RECOMMENDED USES:

  • Pool decks, balconies, and rooftop terraces
  • Wheelchair ramps, stair treads, walkway surfaces
  • Exterior platforms, docks and marine walkways
  • Pedestrian pathways in commercial-outdoor settings

APPLICATION: Mix one canister of GacoFlex GacoGrip (12 oz (340 g)) with 1 gal (3.8 L) of GacoFlex GacoDeck TopCoat or any other top coat in need of a non-skid surface. Stir thoroughly, dispersing granules throughout the coating. Apply as recommended on the label of GacoFlex GacoDeck TopCoat or other top coat brands. GacoFlex GacoGrip can be combined with paint and other coatings to achieve a textured surface but must be fully encapsulated in the coating; walnut shells should not be left exposed.
